HR Recruiter - 3 month contract

The HR Recruiter will join the already established HR team to understand staffing needs, then screening, interviewing and routing candidates with focus on getting the top candidates to the hiring manager. You will contribute to our world renowned organization by building strong, trusting relationships with hiring managers; screening and assessing applicants; while providing a remarkable candidate experience. Manage the overall recruiting goals, handle day to day recruiting processes, and extend job offers. The goal is to achieve the best talent match. Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive sourcing of passive and active candidates to support the team in filling open positions
  • Focus on identifying strong diverse talent by designing and executing creative sourcing strategies
  • Conduct full cycle recruitment activities to support all open positions
  • Work to be creative and offer options on sourcing techniques, including investigating new technologies and practices for reaching top talent
  • Maximize opportunities with social media and job boards
  • Extend and negotiates offers of employment
  • Utilize feedback from hiring department to develop firm understanding of department culture and position requirements, including skills and background required for the position
  • Initiate contact with qualified candidates and provides pre-employment information regarding job requirements, location, wages, benefits, allowances, and employment policies
  • Provide timely follow up and correspondence

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years of high volume, professional recruiting experience
  • Experience with full-cycle recruitment for office professionals and sales associates
  • Knowledge of trends and best practices as it relates to talent acquisition
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships
  • Strong customer-service orientation, ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and desire to deliver solutions
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Ability to leverage technology to attract candidates and drive effective and efficient operations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Industry experience in Retail, Consumer Product or Wholesale
